Rotomolding is a printing technology particularly suitable to the production of big empty plastic items. A hollow mold gets filled with a charge of polyethylene powders and heated; then, it is slowly rotated causing the softened material to disperse and stick to the mold walls due to the centrifugal force. After a cooling phase, the mold is opened and the finished product is pulled out.
