Tracked undercarriage is a system of moving parts (tracks, chains, pins, idlers, etc.) providing traction to tracked loaders. Extendable track systems are the most suitable solution for machines frequently operating in tight spaces, requiring a bigger support base to get extra stability, or needing limited width for transport. Undercarriage is retracted or extended hydraulically: hydraulic cylinders drive the track expansion and contraction movements.
